Halloween Party @ Villa Bienes

Our village had a Halloween Street Party this Friday - of course I showed up together with my two sisters. Colleen and I don't have Halloween costumes so we used the power of make-up. My eyeliner's almost out! Yay. Celine has a witch costume so she it was what she wore for the party.

I wasn't actually sure of what I was going to portray. I just did the make-up like asdfghjkl crap! But after staring at the pictures I guess I was a zombie. Yeah, a zombie, I think. Haha. :D

Who says zombies can't strike poses? :D

It was a cool experience - especially the Trick and Treat part for the kids. Hoping for more parties at our village! Hihi. :D

P.S.I saw a cutie there but unfortunately s/he's a lesbian, I think. Well I'm not sureeee. :)) I just think s/he's too cute for a guy so yeah, you know what I mean. And as for me, with all fairness and respect to all those who are members of the third sex, I am not against them but I am not into them. :)

Final Destination

This is it. EPIC DAY indeed. I'm kind of exhausted to tell the whole story but, yeah, to sum it all up, this day is just so EPIC. Here's my schedule, BTW. I already put it in a table because it was kind of hard to memorize the schedule if it's just on a list. :)

Of course Practicum won't really just happen every Wednesday. I'm planning to use my two free days plus the practicum day for my OJT. I want to finish the 160 hours early.

Final Semester, please be good. :)

That kind of fan who'd join in doing the countdown of the release her bias's newest album - well, that's me! Haha. When I woke up this morning, I opened my laptop right away and opened Taylor Swift's pages. After about four to five hours, finally! RED's already out! :D

The album has 16 tracks and all (well, as usual, haha) are awesome! So far, my favorites are Red (carrier single), I Knew You Were Trouble, 22, Stay Stay Stay, and Begin Again. But all songs are really good, swearrr. :))))

It took her two years to have another album again, AND IT'S WORTH THE WAIT! Taylor Swift never fails her fans, really. :D

Greyson Chance in Manila

Greyson in Manila

When I saw this on my Facebook news feeds I shared it right away and tagged my youngest sister Celine (she's a huge huge fan). And I proudly am too! Hihiii. :D On November 11, 2012, Sunday, we'll hopefully finally be able to meet Greyson Chance in person. He'll be in Market! Market! at around 2:30PM and Trinoma at 6:30. We're still thinking if we'll go to M!M! or Trinoma - but yeah, we really have to goooooo! He'll be promoting his new single, Sunshine & City Lights (go listen to it if you haven't heard it yet 'cause it's awesome), which will be part of his new album to be released next year. Geez.

Plus! Jessie told me a great news! Paramore's going to be here in Manila again on February 2013. I Googled it and heyyy! Their show will be on February 15 which is a day before my 20th birthday! Hoho. Hope I can watch it. Geez! That's going to be one of my best birthdays if ever! It's not yet sure though, but I'll do my best to save money for this one. :)

Plainly Playful

I was again on my blogger's mode so here! I asked my sister to take pictures of my today's outfit hihi. :D I was feeling a bit girly this morning so I opted to wear a skirt, but I wanted my look to become a little playful and slightly ragged. There you go! :)

Earrings, necklace and top: Thrift Shop
Maong skirt: Bizaare
Shoes: Kipling
Wristwatch: Elle

To enhance the look, I chose to put on my eyeliner, a little blush on and a nude-colored lip tint. (Tip: For the tint to look smoother on the lips, put a base first.) Also, I had my hair tied-up in a messy-do.

And since Sunday is family day, yessss, say hi to Mom and Dad!

Whatever Happens

Right at this very moment, I am actually thinking of my grades. I know I didn't do well as much as I should this semester, and all I'm waiting for now are miracles. My fingers are crossed and my mind is fervently praying for a magic show. I am not the only one who's asking for it, anyway. A lot of us.

No matter what, I know I'll make it. GOD won't ever leave my side. Not now, and never. I'll just raise my hands and pray - all for the better. In the end, class cards would just be papers and grades would just be numbers.

Life isn't about how others asses you - it's about how He does. It's not about the true or false or multiple choice questions and it's not about how good you were in manipulating your calculator. At the end of the day, it's NOT about what you answered on your tests of life - it's about how you answered them along the way.

After all, life's a tricky game. To win, you must know how to play it well. :)

Hello, Sembreak!

Hello there sembreaaaaaaak! Finally. This is my last semester break as a college student, and I’m really looking forward to making this one count. I borrowed books from my bookworm-like-me friend Jessie. He lent me some of his Sheldon collections plus the Nanny series that I asked him to, and another book of which he recommended for me to read. :)

And oh, after our last exam, Alfred and I took our food trip at Sbarro. We first went to SM Manila but unfortunately, our ‘want’, the White Pizza, was no longer available. We proceeded to Robinson's Ermita right away and hit Sbarro there and bought two super slice White pizzas! :D

It was actually my first time to taste it. I tried ‘cause he said that it really tastes good and I must say, he’s right! For only Php85 per slice, you can enjoy the Italian taste of Sbarro’s white pizza sliced in a fair enough size. Good buy? Indeed!

This is it. My last sembreak. Uh-huh. I’ll bury myself into novels ‘cause I’m sure enough I won’t be able to do it during the second semester. With the OJT and other JPIA stuff, I’ll now mark my calendar busy.

Class cards are out next week. Yay. I'll leave it all up to GOD now. I know He won't let me down. Not now, and never. :)

Thank GOD it's now over. So yeah. SEMBREAK, HERE I COME! :D

There are times when you really just can't take it.

I wanna laugh it off but sometimes things are really just below the belt. Past is something you cannot handle, something you cannot erase from your history. It's something that whether you like or not, will forever be retained in that mind of yours.

And as a human, I erred a lot. With those mistakes, I think I have learned my lesson. I thank my past because without it, I wouldn't have become a better person (well I suppose), and I wouldn't be where I am now. However, there are those pasts that you just want to forget - those things that brought you no good, those moments that ruined your being, those memories that destroyed your innocence.

I hate it when people tend to remind me of those. Maybe they do not know what it feels like when you see a flashback of something you wish to forget. Whenever I'm alone, I take time to look back and think of the reasons why they happened to me or why I did them. Mainly, the reason was out of irrationality - I was out of my mind back then. I didn't think a hundred times before acting. I just grabbed what I craved for and did what I think would make me happy, not minding what they would bring me in the future.

Regrets? Of course. I do have them. A lot of them, actually. I'm a hypocrite if I say I regret nothing. It's normal for a human being, anyway.

But you know what? Despite those regrets, there's this one thing I'm sure of: LIFE DOESN'T AND MUST NOT STOP THERE - IT GOES AND MUST GO ON. :)

P.S. After typing this post, I don't think the title is actually appropriate for it but never mind. HAHAHA :)))

That moment when you finally see the end-product of all your annoyances and sleepless nights: IT JUST FEELS SO DAMN GREAT!

Faylogna, Claudine Chelsea T.
Acantilado, Arvin Shane
Garcia, Edward D.
Arino, Vivian S.
Bertol, Katrina Marie H.
Esto, Meriah Kate G.
Alanes, Mark Chester A.
Romanillos, Hilda C.

Despite the haggardness with blood and sweat, geez, we made it! It's good to hear how people commend you and your group with the paper work and the oral defense - everything seemed to be in place, and everything's really just worth it. :D

Funny but yes, our feasibility study was all about funeral services. It was actually just a joke when we first proposed it but when our Management Consultancy adviser told us that it's an interesting business to consider, we pushed with it and tah-dah! Serene Funeral Services was formed. :D

Three copies of our first draft for the oral defense! :)

And the end of it all. It was an adventure but well... Yes, we made it. :")

This work may not be perfect, but we're so proud of it. :D Nothing is, anyway. We pulled it off, and we're so glad we did. Our friendship was tested - the whole thing broke, and thank GOD, deepened our bond. :D
Praise to Ma'm Mayel Litao (our adviser), my parents and the whole family, to all those who helped, and of course, praise GOD!
Next thing to deal with: FINAL EXAMS! Please be good to me. :)
